It’s finally time. The moment many of you have texted me about it… If you’re just tuning in, welcome. My last blog focused on your “why” in life. Figuring out why you set the goals you set. Now my whole reason behind starting this blog was because it is a small step in a big journey I’m on. And now you are going to take the first small step in your big journey .

Self-Discipline is Underrated

For years I’ve tried everything. The diet, the gym routine, the self-help books..and nothing ever stuck. I’d start, then I’d stop. And I’m sure you’ve done the same. I’ve tried the Vegan thing, the Keto thing, the “just don’t eat shit thing”, but every time I’d have the same end result. And this is why. I couldn’t scream this from the top of my lungs loud enough.. SELF DISCIPLINE IS UNDERRATED!! What do I mean? I mean we all set out to do amazing things with the right intentions, but we don’t have the self-discipline to stick with it. So how do we fix it? With small victories. Self discipline has to be the foundation of your journey. Only when you’re disciplined will you be able to say “NO” to things that don’t fall in line with your goals.

MAKE YOUR BED

If I told you making your bed every morning would be easy, I’d be lying. It won’t be. Not because the act of making your bed is tough, but because having the self discipline to wake up 5 minutes earlier and do it is. This all comes down to how bad you want to achieve your goals. Making your bed every morning gives you a sense of accomplishment. You’re achieving one small task and it’s setting you up to achieve many more big ones through out the day. Think about all the times you told your self “I need to be more disciplined.” Now is your opportunity to turn your words into action! Don’t be someone who talks about it, be about it. Make your bed.
