“If you were on your death bed, what dreams would die with you?” This is the question that played through my headphones Sunday morning. Now just to clear the air, I was listening to a motivational speech while working out and this just happened to be a question that was asked…it stuck with me. After the initial death bed question, a statement followed. “So many people on this earth let their dreams die with them.”
I know this sounds very somber, but I promise this speech was motivational. It went on to rant about how in this world someone will make it. There will be people who achieve their goals. There will be people who leave an impact and change the world. The only difference between those who do and those who don’t is how bad they want it.
So, how bad do you want it?
Not an original question of mine, not something you haven’t heard before, but is it something you’ve really put some thought behind?
If you think about it, we are a blessed generation. In today’s world you can google anything and get the answer within seconds. “How to write a book?” “How to live healthy?” “How to start a business?”
Any answer you want, is at your finger tips.
It’s what we can’t teach that separates those who make it from those who don’t. Those who are successful and those who aren’t. Those who die with their dreams and those who live…
On January 1st many of you made New Years Resolutions. Many of you said “This year I will…” It’s January 21st, how many of you already broke your resolution? If you haven’t then congrats to you, but the new year just started… And if you are someone who already broke it, well then my only question is, how bad do you want it?
